We considered other law firms before finding Rothschild & Ausbrooks The first one, located in Green Hills, was 3-4 times more expensive and they wouldn’t file any paperwork until they received full payment (several thousand dollars), which we didn’t have, and we needed immediate relief from creditors….they didn’t care.
All the other firms we reviewed lacked professionalism, and, in our opinion, did not have the breadth of knowledge we found at Rothschild & Ausbrooks. Also, they appeared to treat their clients like numbers, rather than people.
When we called Rothschild & Ausbrooks, we spoke with Ruth. She was “on the ball”, answered all our questions and was very kind. When we met you (Alex) we knew we made the right decision. Even though our case was a bit complex, because of our business, you knew what to do, and never needed to “find out and get back to us”. You know the bankruptcy code like the back of your hand (you must have them memorized!), and you are always right!
You explained the entire process clearly, and we always knew what to expect.
It’s been almost 2 years, and what could have been an absolute nightmare now only seems like a bad dream, and it’s fading more every day. We are well on the road to financial recovery and our future is bright. Had we decided to work with any other attorney or firm, we couldn’t say that.

I will take one moment to say thank you so far for excellence in what you are doing. Of course this is not a situation one would necessarily want to be in on our end and it can be quite stressful if for nothing else the simple fact of not knowing what to expect, being we have never been in this position before. From the first time I called and spoke with Ruth Stockell, I felt at ease. She answered questions, was very compassionate, and understood when we had to cancel and then reschedule.
Meeting with Toni was also a pleasure. She is compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions, made sure we had everything we needed for our file, gave us an quick outline of what to expect and just really helped us so much.

It has been a while since I’ve talked to you and usually I only contact you when I want something. Well surprise! This time I’m writing to say THANK YOU! I want to thank you for referring Joe Bauer to me and for your help in making this recent refinance possible. Joe is a “realtor from heaven” and has done an outstanding job in turning my mortgage monstrosity into the loan that I should have received when I purchased my home four years ago. Never in the 34 years that I have been paying a mortgage have I been able to get a fixed rate of 5.5%. NEVER!
